【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61290appliestoallcommerciallyavailableopticalamplifiers(OAs)andopticallyamplifiedsub-systems.ItappliestoOAsusingopticallypumpedfibres(OFAsbasedoneitherrare-earthdopedfibresorontheRamaneffect),semiconductorOAs(SOAs),andwaveguides(POWAs)Theobjectofthisstandardistoestablishuniformrequirementsforaccurateandreliablemeasurements,bymeansoftheopticalspectrumanalyzertestmethod,ofthefollowingOAparameters,asdefinedinIEC61291-1:a)maximuminputreflectance;b)minimuminputreflectance;c)outputreflectance.NOTE1Allnumericalvaluesfollowedby($)arecurrentlyunderconsideration.NOTE2ThereflectancetestmethoddescribedinthisstandarddoesnotapplytodistributedfibreRamanamplifiers.TheevaluationofreflectanceandreturnlossofthedistributedfibreRamanamplifiersisunderconsideration.NOTE3Thechoiceofmethods,eithertheopticalspectrumanalyzertestmethodortheelectricalspectrumanalyzertestmethod,candependonequipmentavailability.Normally,similarresultsareanticipatedfrombothtechniques.
