【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthegeneralsafetyrequirementsforelectricarcfurnaces(EAF)tomeltsteelnotcontainingradioactivematerial.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventspertinenttoEAF,whenusedasintendedandunderconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer,butalsoincludesforeseeablefaultsandmalfunctionsincaseofmisuse.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesalsocriteriafortheplantandequipmentintegratedintheproductionprocess.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementstoensurethesafetyofpersonswhicharetobemetduringthedesign,assembly,transport,commissioning,operation,maintenanceanddecommissioningoftheequipment.ThisEuropeanStandardassumesthatinstallationsareoperatedandmaintainedbyadequatelytrainedandcompetentpersonnel.Manualinterventionforsetting,adjustmentandmaintenanceisacceptedaspartofthenormaluseoftheequipment.ThisEuropeanStandardcoversthefollowingequipment(seeAnnexB):-EAFwithACtechnology(alternatingcurrent);-EAFwithDCtechnology(directcurrent);-scrappre-heatingtechnology;-associatedequipment/devicesaccordingAnnexB.ThefollowingequipmentisnotcoveredbythisEuropeanStandard:-inductionfurnace;-resistance-arcfurnace;-electronbeamfurnace;-plasmafurnace;-otherelectricalfurnacesusedinsecondarysteelmaking.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifysafetyrequirementsforthefollowingequipment,whichcanbeanintegralorcomplementarypartoftheequipmentcoveredbytheScope:a)cranes;b)scrapbasket;c)transportcarforscrapbasket;d)elephanthouse(furnaceencasingforenvironmentalreasons);e)separatescrapdryingequipment.
