【摘要】:Theresistivityofthesurroundingsoilenvironmentisafactorinthecorrosionofundergroundstructures.Highresistivitysoilsaregenerallynotascorrosiveaslowresistivitysoils.Theresistivityofthesoilisoneofmanyfactorsthatinfluencetheservicelifeofaburiedstructure.Soilresistivitymayaffectthematerialselectionandthelocationofastructure.5Soilresistivityisofparticularimportanceandinterestinthecorrosionprocessbecauseitisbasicintheanalysisofcorrosionproblemsandthedesignofcorrectivemeasures.Thetestmethodisfocusedtoprovideanaccurate,expeditiousmeasurementofsoilresistivitytoassistinthedeterminationofasoilx2019;scorrosivenature.TestMethodG57emphasizesaninsitumeasurementcommonlyutilizedinthedesignofaburiedstructuresx2019;corrosioncontrol(cathodicprotectionsystemsx2019;groundbeddesign,andsoforth).Thetwo-electrodesoilboxmethodoftencomplimentsthefour-pin,insitusoilresistivitymethod.Thesaturatedsoilresistivitydeterminedbythistestmethoddoesnotnecessarilyindicatetheminimumsoilresistivity1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheequipmentandaprocedureforthemeasurementofsoilresistivity,forsamplesremovedfromtheground,foruseinthecontrolofcorrosionofburiedstructures.1.2Proceduresallowforthistestmethodtobeusednthefieldorinthelaboratory.1.3Thetestmethodproceduresarefortheresistivitymeasurementofsoilsamplesinthesaturatedconditionandintheas-receivedcondition.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Soilresistivityvaluesarereportedinohm-centimeter.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
