【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtoanalyzesoilforalpha-emittinguraniumisotopes.Itcanbeusedtoestablishbaselineuraniumlevelsandtomonitordepositionsfromnuclearfacilities.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofalpha-emittinguraniumisotopesinsoil.Thistestmethoddescribesoneacceptableapproachtothedeterminationofuraniumisotopesinsoil.1.2Thetestmethodisdesignedtoanalyze10gofsoil;however,thesamplesizemaybevariedto50gdependingontheactivitylevel.Thistestmethodmaynotbeabletocompletelydissolveallformsofuraniuminthesoilmatrix.Studieshaveindicatedthattheuseofhydrofluoricacidtodissolvesoilhasresultedinlowervaluesthanresultsusingtotaldissolutionbyfusion.1.3Thelowerlimitofdetectionisdependentoncounttime,samplesize,detectorefficiency,background,andtraceryield.Thechemicalrecoveryaveraged78%inasinglelaboratoryevaluation,and66%inaninterlaboratorycollaborativestudy.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.AspecificprecautionarystatementisgiveninSection10.

【摘要】:ThisPartofEN843containsguidelinestobeadoptedwhenevaluatingtheappearanceofthefracturesurfaceofanadvancedtechnicalceramic.Thepurposeinundertakingthisprocedurecanbevarious,forexample,formaterialdevelopmentorqualityassessment,toidentifynormalorabnormalcausesoffailure,orasadesignaid.NOTENotalladvancedtechnicalceramicsareamenabletofractography,inparticular,coarse-grainedceramicscanshowsuchroughsurfacesthatidentifyingthefractureoriginmaybeimpossible.Similarly,porousmaterials,especiallythoseofagranularnature,tendnottofractureinacontinuousmanner,makinganalysisdifficult.
